Sidney blog burns eyeballs with new design

I threw together a new layout and color scheme to try to get it to match Sidney High School Yellow Jacket colors. My retina is burned out now, how about yours? Yep, I'm going to have to change it to more of a golden yellow. This bright yellow is just not cutting it for me. Maybe if I adjust the yellow in the Adsense modules it will look nicer. I'll give that a shot. So if you hate it right now, you're not alone. Hang in there, and I'll keep working on it.

On the other hand, now that I've been schooled by Sidney's Tribe MC, I'm becoming a bit of a badass, so if you don't like what you see on this blog, maybe you should make your own. lol

  1. Everybody knows this is TRIBE M/C territory...So when the Earthworms, I mean Nightcrawlers wiggled into town and claimed Sidney, yeah some guys got pissed. They (the worms) came in with no loyalty, no respect, no honor...no permission. Now they are putting Sidney patches on the skins? You need to be here longer than a few months to do that. The TRIBE M/C has been a part of this community for almost 20 years. They help out with local charites (especially the Salvation Army), put on fund raisers, and take care of the community and surrounding areas. What did the worms do, they left a slime trail that leads back to Missouri or wherever the hell they are from. If you have to hunt down people on craigslist to get prospects, you got issues. Advice to the Nightcrawlers...take the Sidney patch off...never claim it or anywhere else around you. When you see the TRIBE M/C step aside and let a REAL club ride by. Speaking of riding, get a fucking motorcycle before you call yourselves and M/C.

  3. Yeah, I was up...maybe I never went to sleep. Sorry about the f-bomb...this is a sore subject for a lot of people. I even heard it mentioned at 47 Bar and Grill in P/J this weekend. The worms showed who they were and are by walking into the TRIBE's town with a total lack of respect...but not to waste time on the worms...There are a lot of rides coming up this summer. Everybody needs to be careful. Eight motorcyclist have died this year in Logan county and I think we are at 3 in Shelby county. Who knows where Ohio sits for total death rates, but it is sickening. Doesn't matter who is at fault or what the circumstances are. People need to be a little better at what they drive. I almost got tagged in Piqua by a guy that figured he was gonna turn left after a car, but didnt look behind the car. Thank god I had a little throttle left or I would have been a blood stain on Ash street. With all the rallies, poker runs, and rodeos that coming up, riders need to get out and support the local clubs. Get out and be a rider. If it rains, who cares...if its windy, who cares...if its too hot, who cares. You got a bike to ride, so ride the damn thing.

  4. Definitely car drivers should "look twice and save a life," but I noticed on your club's website, you promote not wearing helmets, or at least, the freedom of choice to not wear a helmet. Heck, I don't want to make you wear a helmet, but a biker needs to face the fact that their bike is the smaller vehicle. When you drive a smaller vehicle, you have to drive more defensively. Another way to defend your life is to wear a helmet, a leather jacket, and proper boots, no matter how hot the weather is. I see guys driving motorcycles while wearing shorts and flip flops. They have to be morons. I think what a shame it is that they could win a Darwin Award.

  6. I'm sorry, I think you still might not understand me. The Nightcrawlers people (or worms) did not ask me, nor did they post their club info here. I found the information elsewhere and chose to post it. Also, everybody in Sidney does not know about you.

  8. We're cool. :)
Remember to just post any special events coming up. You can just put them as a comment, I'll grab the info and blog it. If people don't subscribe to the Sidney paper, then I guess they aren't hearing about your events. So let's get them online where more people can see them and you can spread the info. I'll be glad to help. But don't expect me to get a tattoo. Ok, maybe a little butterfly on my left ankle. But only if it's super small. Then we'll see where it goes from there. lol

  9. Not wearing a helmet is a personal choice. Wearing condoms is a personal choice. Both come with risks...Some people wear em, some dont. We know the risk involved. We choose to wear it based on how we ride. If I know if I am riding on the interstate I usually wear it. What is pissing me off lately is the kids on the motorcycles that have on a helmet, flip flops, and shorts. WTF parents? Dont matter if you are riding just in town. Another thing that pisses me off is the editor of the Sidney Daily News...he hates bikers and reports subjectivly and not objectivly. Take the accident last week in Logan county for example. The article read that the truck turned in front of the motorcyclist and he hit. Factually correct, but misleading. The biker would not have ran into the truck had the driver been paying attention. There was no excessive speed involved, the dude had on the gloves, helmet, jacket, pants, everything he would need. Sometimes shit, I mean stuff like that happens. Doesnt matter how you prepare, how you ride. Unfortunate as hell, I mean heck. The media manipulated the facts to make the biker look at fault, and the truck was at the wrong place at the wrong time. What kind of horses#!t does the SDN report. They are subjectivly reporting all of this to make the motorcycle community look bad. I bet the editor owns a Prius too...I'm gonna make a bike that runs on coal and pull up by that baby blue prius just so he can suck my exhaust.

Back to the riding gear. It is a personal choice and I dont need to be voiced on what to wear and not to wear on a motorcycle. How many of us dont wear seatbelts, or drive to fast, or mess around with other stuff while we drive. Calculated risk. Im comfortable enough in my ablitliy as a rider to know when I should wear a helmet and not wear one. When to wear my leather and when not to. I see your opinion. I know why you say it. But dont go around and point fingers at websites that express a freedom of choice on helmets. Especially, and I assume this, when you dont ride a bike yourself. Wait a minute, if you dont ride a motorcycle go join the nightcrawlers...lol. Just messing with ya...Night yall...standby for more bitchings from me tomorrow.

  10. My reason for wanting you to wear a helmet is selfish. I don't want the one person who reads this blog to die. ;-)

But in your comment, you said, "What is pissing me off lately is the kids on the motorcycles that have on a helmet, flip flops, and shorts. WTF parents? Dont matter if you are riding just in town." If the kid is old enough to have a license to drive, isn't he old enough to make that choice for himself that he wants to take the risk of wearing flip flops and shorts, just as you want to decide to take the risk of riding without a helmet sometimes? Is there a certain age that one is allowed to decide a level of risk and personal choice? KnowwhutImean? I'm just sayin'

I don't mind your "bitchings." Bring it on. It's interesting. Thanks.

  11. What I am referring to is the parents that are riding motorcycles and they have 10 year olds with that crap on sitting on the back seat. You missed my point. Kids dont need to wear flip flops and shorts on a motorcycle. I think there is a maturity level that must be obtained for personal choice. Historically its been 18 years old. Even if the kid is 16 and has a license, parents still have to excercise some level of contro, unless the minor is emancipated. 18 for porn, cigs, even sex with an adult. Why would a parent let a child wear that stuff on a motorcycle befuddles me. I think parents need to be a little more proactive on the safety of the child while on a motorcycle. Get a helmet that fits, wear some over the ankle shoes, long sleeve shirt, at least...and in this state for a kid to ride legally, they must be able to reach an unmodified passenger peg.

  12. Reported by WHIO TV...follow the link if you dont believe me...

DAYTON, Ohio -- Police in Dayton said a fatal shooting in a crowded parking lot is likely connected to local motorcycle gangs.

Homicide detectives are now searching for the gunman after 43-year-old Jesse Chandler Jr. was gunned down Sunday night behind a motorcycle club near the intersection of Third Street and Marion.

Officers are trying to determine whether motorcycle gangs were involved, and they are still trying to get witnesses to come forward.

Lt. Brian Johns said, “Crews arrived and found an adult male shot here behind the building, shot at least one time.”

Police said the parking lot in behind the Bad To The Bone motorcycle club. They said it was packed with more than 100 people.

Investigators said Chandler was not a member of a motorcycle gang, but he had many friends who were.

Tommy Yancey, who lives near Chandler, said, “He was a nice guy. He would go to work, come home and had a girlfriend who came over once a week.”

Yancey told police said Chandler was normal and had a quiet routine. According to police, Chandler did not have criminal past, leaving them searching for a motive in the fatal shooting.

Police said they want to locate two men who were with Chandler in the hour before he was shot in his SUV. Officers said he drove the men home and then returned to the scene and that is when someone fired the fatal shot.

If you have any information about the shooting, contact Dayton police at 333-COPS.

I guess that means if he was shot in a black or mexican neighboorhood then the blacks and mexicans did it. What if they found him at the police station? Hmmm....See why I dont trust media, or the cops. They are trying to bust balls on observation without investigation.
